Wall mounted mirror sculpture. A black lacquered "egg shell" made of lime tree with a scalloped gold leaf inner surface is mounted on a polished steel mirror. The mirror size is the same size as the base minus 7 mm. The base itself is black lacquered MDF wood. Influenced by early 20th century masters such as Majorelle, Gallé, the artist takes the essence of the organic Art Nouveau curves and makes a transcendent leap into refined 21st century minimalism.
