With the restriction of our handwoven facility and centuries-long local wisdom, the creativity of our designers can be limited. The freeform and sophisticated designs can be challenging. However, by juggling different ideas, we are able to create this pattern which depicts a modern aesthetic, whilst maintain the deep and rich history of DoiTung’s traditional woven techniques. This textile pattern is a result of our effort to design out-of-the-box. It is a perfect combination of natural materials and traditional heritage, with enhanced design skills by DoiTung artisans.
