What's a Cyanotype? The cyanotype is a simple photographic technique for the reaction of two chemicals mixed with the UV of the sun, developed in 1842 by John Frederik William Herschel and produces a unique print in a shade of blue. What does the Cyanotype box contain? The box contains two reagents to mix (enough to make dozens of 40x30 cm boards), postcard holder for testers, sponge brushes and a glass frame to securely attach the plants to the reagant-coated paper
