Product description
The perfect couple painted by 1920’s illustrator Leyen decker for the Saturday Evening Post fit perfectly on this hand bult model of a beautiful spiral staircase. It reminds of the Great Gatsby, another creation from the same era. Miniature staircase were made as final exam projects for skilled furniture and carpentry specialists. Several examples are shown at the Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris where skilled traditional art and craft is reverently displayed and respected. Truly limited edition.
