Grand hotel keychain

Grand Hotels were de rigueur in the Belle Époque. My Granddad remembered visiting the Biarritz Grand on the beach in France, the family arrived in a Jaguar limousine and enjoyed the service, the food and large bedrooms with complete with balcony and ocean view. Room keys attached to elaborate key-hangers which were to prevent them from being accidentally taken home at check-out. Actually many were take as souvenir. This hand crafted leather key hanger recalls the luxury and grandeur of an era now long gone.
