Product description
In the production of end-grain veneer, the tree trunk is not cut lengthwise, but crosswise to the trunk. The annual rings can be seen as circles and these tell something about the history and the high age of a tree. The veneers used at Sayo come from oaks that are at least 70 years old and older. Especially old trees can form cracks inside the trunk. These are filled with a black synthetic resin varnish and polished. More Coffee tables
