Product description

Pair of mid-century metal and wood playground horses. The two vintage props , also sold separately, served as playground equipment in a park in Hungary up until a few decades ago. The frame and heads are metal with deteriorated red enamel, a log (originally painted yellow) forms the back part and two wooden planks serve as foot rests. The lower portions of the metal frames, darker in color, were originally meant to be completely underground in order to fix the horses in place. These items are sold for ornamental purposes only and are not deemed safe for child's play by Italian standards.
