An expert in weaving and teacher at the prestigious Bauhaus school, Anni Albers has left a pioneering legacy to the world of textile design. With a perfect mastery of techniques, geometry and colours, his experiments have become full-fledged works today exhibited in the most beautiful international museums. This rug comes from the artist's design designed in 1926 for a wall hanging project. Tufted in pure hand-spun wool this exceptional rug is made by Christopher Farr in collaboration with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation.
