Product description
When plant cells are magnified, a symmetrical pattern is revealed - a mysterious world like the checked Ichimatsu patterns of this Edo Kiriko glass series. In each cell is a spherical nucleus, just like the polished three-dimensional circles of the Ichimatsu patterned glass. This series received the Grand Prize in the 5th Tokyo’s Traditional Handcrafts Challenge Award.
