Product description
Tamba pottery is a production area in Hyogo. This production area is one of the six ancient potteries in Japan along with Seto, Tokoname, Shigaraki, Bizen and Echizen. This product is characterized by ceramic line inlays. When using the zogan or ceramic inlay technique, the surface of the pottery is carved, and then clay of other colors is inlaid in the cut areas to make a design. Because the design is produced with clay rather than being painted on the surface of the cup, it stands out dramatically. More Mugs
