The HIGH LIFE Kente Cushion collection.
The weaving of Kente Cloth is a Ghanaian tradition.
The coloured and patterned cloths are woven in fine dense strips with cotton. The strips are then carefuly sewn together to create graphic panels. The work is done at home, in an atelier or outside by men.
Our cloths are made by an association of weavers in the Volta Region.
Kente is a Ghanaian luxury cloth, often worn as clothing, and reserved for special occasions.
