With its references to the Post-war modern architecture, and in particular to the Chicago Group which Frank Lloyd Wright was the most famous ambassador, this collection incorporates the materials used at the time (wood, steel and glass) in an asymmetric architecture defined by a dominant horizontality. The aesthetic vocabulary of the later-called “Prairie school” architectural style was characterized by large bay windows, overhang roofs, solid construction and integration to the surrounding landscape.
