Slim line - string decorative object

The use of shoji is declining sharply, as is the number of its craftsmen, which raises concerns about the succession of the trade. In order to preserve Shoji screens as a culture of Japan, KITOTE will continue to harmonize with modern architecture. For the “Slim Line”, we aspire to present the elegance of the kumiko/mesh and we used a 6mm thinner wood rather than the conventional 8mm used on common shoji screens. Shoji that maximizes the delicate technique of the lattice will pleasantly decorate the space.
