In an aim to celebrate centuries of Moroccan craftsmanship and expertise, Coté Bougie partnered with Moroccan artist and designer, Bouchra Boudoua, to create a unique collection of scented candles. Bouchra’s ceramic work is a tribute to the Amazigh culture as she creates her own graphic language of signs and symbols to translate her own experiences living in Morocco. All candles of this collection are entirely handmade using age old pottery techniques by artisans in the region of Marrakech. Small imperfections in glaze and shape are part of the handmade nature of the work.
