JoBo Hotel

PIERRE FREY

The famous decorator Bambi Sloan has scoured the archives of the (different) collections of the Maison Pierre Frey to reinterpret the codes of the Directoire period and dress the walls of the rooms with vast drapes reissued for the occasion.

The Hôtel de JoBo in Paris is a tribute to Josephine Bonaparte, whose name it is a contraction of. The famous decorator Bambi Sloan has scoured the archives of the (different) collections of the Maison Pierre Frey to reinterpret the codes of the Directoire period and dress the walls of the rooms with vast drapes reissued for the occasion. Each piece features a strong motif, deploying the House's great classics - including the famous Panther canvas from Somalia - from the walls to the floors and curtains. Romantic and rock'n' roll, L'Hôtel de JoBo boasts a joyful eccentricity that revisits French-style elegance with fantasy and humour, lending it a unique and essential contemporary touch.
