BIG VALUE: Education!
Developing video games, exhibiting optical toys, supporting museums and other projects
One of Hemisferium´s main values is supporting educational projects. Besides rescuing ancient technology and bringing back to life some of history’s most relevant instruments, our aim is to help spread the knowledge behind those antique instruments and the scientific discoveries that made them possible. We have always offered preferential conditions to Educational Institutions such as Universities, Schools and to special exhibits on museums. Over the years we have also supported or sponsored many educational activities, among these : We sponsored Spin&See by EverymanCinema&Film_London on 2015 for children in London. Our partners in Argentina “Máquinas de Mirar” are also doing an important job on teaching how to SEE: https://www.maquinasdemirar.com/talleres-y-eventos/, https://www.instagram.com/p/CDrwcnEgXRW/ . The special decoration for the exhibit “Ships, Clocks and Stars. The quest for Longitude” organized by the Maritime Museum of Greenwich (2014) was supported by our original designs. This year, a team of French videogame students came knocking on our door. They needed a sponsor with astrolabes.
