The myth of white horse is at the heart of Toogood limited edition of appliqued quilts inspired by the graphic qualities of the pagan hill carvings at Westbury and Uffingham. Hand-stitched and painted narratives on 100% padded linen in natural with embroidered title on the back. An earthy palette of rich browns, grassy greens and chalky whites alludes to the collection roots in the England landscape, while the stories depicted encompass not just paganism but also the white horse's role in the Christian, Hindu and Persian traditions.
