Tea set dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian writer
To create this collection, designer Alexandra Georgieva was inspired by a visit to the writer's house-museum in the Russian town of Staraya Russa, in which a tablecloth embroidered by the hands of Novgorod craftswomen lies on the dining table. The stitch patterns "Norwegian spider", "tarlata", "snow flower", "lattice" and graceful hemstitch "bug" and "peg" give a peculiar charm to the embroidery.
