EDELGRUND Forest
The ‘EDELGRUND Forest’ an installation designed by Paolo Giordano and Ouwen Mori takes you on an emotional journey, enabling you to experience a kilim carpet in a unique way. The vocabulary of these kilim carpets are revisited through a poetic arrangement of pattern play using the extraordinary language of the EDELGRUND colours and weaving techniques. EDELGRUND kilims come from Mazandaran, Iran where they were originally created by artisan women back in the late 19th century. The designs are based on minimalistic geometric patterns combined with stripes and colors.
