Carré Y made the crown and the scepter of DRAG RACE FRANCE

The Drag Race phenomenon finally arrives in France!!! This drag queen competition is more than just a show, it's a symbol of tolerance, creativity, inclusiveness. I am proud to have created the crown and the scepter of the first edition of Drag Race France. I wanted a crown faithful to the Carré Y aesthetic by reinterpreting the codes of beauty contests. The crown and the scepter have been made by hand and are set with crystals. I called on craftsmen, jewelers based in the Philippines, a workshop run only by women. It was a unique opportunity for Carré Y and I wanted it to also have a social aspect advocating woman empowerment. The crown and the scepter were inspired by the rose, like thorns to protect the beauty of the winner. This ornament, worth €40,000, will be awarded during the final. I am honored to be part of the Drag Race story, a symbol of tolerance and inclusiveness. Love Y
