A COLORFUL CIRCULAR ECONOMY WITH CITYSENS
New idea, new project: CitySens Wall Pots : A colorful circular economy. CitySens is committed to protecting the environment and promoting a circular economy by reducing waste. The circular economy enables goods and services to be produced in a sustainable way by limiting resource consumption and waste generation. CitySens' commitment to the environment and sustainability is reflected in its practical and innovative approach. We collaborate with the Portolà Foundation to give a second life to the lids of wall pots by transforming them into vertical gardens. The lids are handmade one by one by seamstresses in the Portolà Foundation's workshop. We also work with the Pere Mata Foundation for the assembly of self-watering planters. Our new project is to recycle all the quality fabric scraps that are no longer used in the furniture or banner industry. They transform these fabrics into unique and colorful wall mounted planters, which can be used to create small or large vertical gardens. The planters consist of an outer textile cover and a waterproof planter, which protects the walls from moisture. This design has many benefits, it gives a second life to materials, reduces waste, promotes social and professional inclusion, transforms our spaces and improves our quality of life.
