Rpet Button Rivea
When perfection is born of imperfection
Because we leave nothing to chance, we asked a Geneva-based jewelry artist to imagine the perfect button for our swimwear. She reinterpreted the Rivea logo and graphic waves. In her hands, the button becomes a true work of craftsmanship. Take a closer look at the button. Its curves are as irregular as the lines on its surface. This button was hand-drawn by Geneva-based jewelry artist Elisa Pantazopoulos. To create it, she used the same technique she employs to make the eco-friendly jewelry of her ELIO-O brand: the ancestral lost-wax technique in which the organic imperfections of the hands lead to a form of jewellery perfection. Once the desired design has been achieved, the wax form of the button is cast in metal before being transformed into a mold to reproduce the button in Rpet. The result is simply unique.
