Ecolodges du "Golf des Graves et du Sauternais" : reconnecting with a childhood memory, the "carrelets"
Ecolodges take on the appearance of fishermen's huts, where LOFTNETS invite you to relax close to nature.
The idea? To create a hotel concept that blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings, without damaging them. The environmental dimension is therefore of paramount importance to this project. The manager of the "Golf des Graves et du Sauternais" also wanted to reconnect with a childhood memory, the carrelets. The idea of ecolodges that would take on the appearance of these fishermen's huts gradually emerged. To carry out this project and recreate the world of the "carrelets", local craftsmen were preferred in order to reduce the carbon footprint as much as possible. David Dalidec, the architect for the project, called on LoftNets. The Bordeaux-based brand seemed to be the obvious choice. The local company offers nets that are similar to the nets used for fishing nets, so their use made sense. Here, designer and interior architect David Dalidec has imagined them differently, using them as hammocks for lounging and enjoying the calm and serenity of the surroundings. The fine mesh of the nets means you can be as close to nature as possible, almost with your feet in the water. Une belle manière de revisiter le design des carrelets dans une atmosphère plus cosy en étant entouré de faune et de flore.
