Vintage Glamour Suite
Unique ways to use glass and mirrors in interior design
Meja Design is known for flipping apartments. She has worked with Scandinavian Glassfactory in many projects and trusts us with everything glass. This apartment was renovated to pay homage to the 50's, when the apartment building was built. The design of the apartment is inspired by the 50's, 60's and 70's and the finished apartment is called the Vintage Glamour Suite. The original 2-bedroom apartment was turned into a compact 3-bedroom home. Particularly proud Meja is of the bar cabinet and TV-stand. The bar cabinet has beautiful tiles as a backsplash, and the bronze mirrors by Glassfactory line the sides, top and bottom. The mirrors reflect the tiles and make for a stunning centerpiece. Additionally, the shelves are also from us and made from bronze glass. The finished cabinet is straight from a 70's James Bond movie. The TV-stand is covered with a bronze custom cut mirror. The TV itself rises from inside the stand. As a final touch in the main interior is the glass wall with a sliding door. The white frames brighten up the space beautifully. The bathroom mirrors are inspired by the original tiles. The composition is made from three rounded corner LED mirrors with the central mirror being smoke grey. The same shape can be found from the folding shower wall, made from dark grey glass.
