Custom lighting design for the National Assembly Library
An exceptional project in collaboration with Silvera
HISLE creations now have the honor of standing alongside the paintings of Eugène Delacroix, Lepaute clocks, and more than 54,000 ancient books, including the founding texts of our democracy, as well as numerous manuscripts and rare editions. This project is part of the massive year-long restoration work undertaken to renovate this historic site, founded in 1834. To respect this majestic setting and highlight these writings, HISLE designed three custom lighting models in anodized aluminum with a brass-effect finish. Their clean and understated lines integrate perfectly into this sumptuous environment, providing impeccable visual comfort for readers and visitors alike. - Portico lamps: This contemporary reinterpretation of the library lamp was designed specifically for this project. - Table lamps and built-in sockets in the furniture - Floor reading lamps We thank Béatrice Diemer, Project Manager at Silvera, and Marie-Danièle Pessard, Heritage Architect at the Directorate of Real Estate and Heritage of the National Assembly, for their trust. HISLE is proud to contribute to the promotion of heritage and to showcase French craftsmanship. Photo credit: Jérôme Galland.
