Design of Custom Mugs for the French Embassy in Benin
Mugs combining French identity and Beninese aesthetics to support the daily work of Embassy teams.
This project involves the creation of custom-designed mugs for the various departments of the French Embassy in Benin. The goal is to offer a practical, elegant object that reflects the cooperation between the two countries. The mugs were designed by integrating elements from the official visual identity of the French State—clarity, balance, and visual coherence—combined with patterns inspired by wax fabric, a strong emblem of Beninese visual culture. This blend results in a harmonious, contemporary design that respects and highlights both identities. These mugs aim to: - strengthen the Embassy’s internal visual identity, - showcase a graphic dialogue between France and Benin, - provide a functional and aesthetically refined object for staff, - symbolize cultural openness through an everyday item. Created by KEMI HOME ART, they reflect careful craftsmanship, respect for institutional guidelines, and a commitment to producing meaningful objects.
