This is a body of work that spans the idea of Home (Gae). In this case as an artist l have chose charcoal as my main medium to use as a metaphor for dust, the dust we carry daily. This dust is a dust that we come from. Now this body of work reminds us that in a very busy world we still need to pause and breathe and be reminded that we are one with nature and the is a need for us to recognise our surroundings and self. That is where the spirit is free and having fun. Sometimes we tend to look much onto other things but not realise that to return to self is one of the most beautiful thing we can normalise. Gae in this case is not only limited to a spatial location but a broader aspect..
