Architect, journalist and design critic, Marcelo Lima is probably one of the longest-lived and outstanding Brazilian professionals in the editorial market of architecture, decoration and design, in particular, in the large print media. He started at the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper as a columnist for Revista da Folha, after collaborating with several magazines, such as Casa Vogue. Nowadays in O Estado de S. Paulo, other of the biggest Brazilian newspapers, he acts as Design Editor. Among other achievements, Marcelo has accumulated more than twenty years of uninterrupted participation in the coverage of the international fairs such as Salone del Mobile in Milan, Maison & Objet, in Paris, and London Design Festival. Stood out as a speaker, jury member and promoter of important design events in Brazil and around the world. Among his most recent achievements are the creation of the Casacor Award, for interior projects and the Best in Show Award, conferred annually in São Paulo by Expo Revestir, the largest ceramic fair in Latin America. Currently, he is also curator of the 1st Adriana Adam Design Awards.
