Dorothée Delaye is an french interior designer. After her work in 2021 on the pocket-sized Sookie hotel and Mimosa restaurant in Paris, this spring, she completed a new hotel establishment within the exquisite Art-Deco Mercédès building in Paris.
Galatea Armchair
Know for his surrealist paintings, Salvador Dalí was one of the most controversial and paradoxical artists of the twenty century. Over the last decades, alongside Picasso and Matisse, Dalí has gradually come to be seen as a prodigious figure whose life and work occupy a central and unique position in the history of modern art. Painting by Dali in 1952, the Galatea of Spheres depicts Gala Dalí, his wife and muse. This surrealist painting as pieced together through a series of spheres arranged in a continuous array.

FURNITURE
The furniture collections of 101 Copenhagen feature a wide range of products ranging from small side tables to chairs. The furniture collections are inspired by different time periods. One is inspired by 70s futuristic design and space age together with the Art Deco period and one is inspired by Brutalist architecture. Adjacent to it is the collection inspired by the Brutalism movement of the mid-20th Century where the simplified block-like structures and concrete components dominated cities around the world.

Lamina Light - Halo
The new Lamina Light sculptures reveals has unique experience through distributing light between layered structures. The light sculpture creates fluctuating color patterns within its transparent slats. The slats, constructed from recycled acrylic material, create distortions which change color depending on the intensity of the light. The Lamina Light can be adjusted in strength and warmth in order to provide the optimal lighting conditions for its surroundings. Lamina explores new possibilities for more efficient production and recycling techniques.

Tsubaki
Camellia-inspired, hexagonal and round shaped, high-end Japanese plates with a foot. The shutters and channel gates used in Jaipur's shops became the inspiration of this rug. This rug is a depiction of how the channel gates allow you to see the world outside while acting like a protective wall at the same time.

Over the past 10 years, this interior designer has taken on a series of hotel, restaurant, and apartment projects with a sharp sense of staging. From space design to creating furniture, she forges a truly personal path by crafting impactful, warm, and joyous living spaces that have made her one of the most sought-after decorators today. After her work in 2021 on the pocket-sized Sookie hotel, located in a former convent in the Marais, then having designed the Mimosa restaurant this autumn, as a nod to the French Riviera, within the Hôtel de la Marine in Paris, this spring, she completed a new hotel establishment within the exquisite Art-Deco Mercédès building on Avenue Wagram (in Paris' 17th district), before carrying out two other Parisian projects and a private residence in Marseille, the city she loves most.
