Grounded - What's new? @Maison&Objet Paris

A territory of perception with restorative materiality, conducive to the experience of the senses and the deployment of the imagination, discover beforehand a selection of products from François Bernard's Grounded exhibition at Maison & Objet Paris in January 2023.

VITÓRIA RÉGIA Green Amazônia tray - 100% natural rubber craftsmanship
100% natural rubber tray handmade in the Brazilian Amazon forest. From a leaf of the “Vitoria Régia” plant, a mold is made of sand then aluminum. The rubber is then poured, then a vegetable color obtained with leaf and plant extracts is applied before the leaf is left to dry. The extraction of rubber is carried out by 75 families of indigenous peoples, who live by their artisans and in harmony with nature. Rubber is biodegradable, vegan, and free of chemical additives.
CAP Tables
The CAP tables consist of two porcelain parts; a base and a table top. Each piece is thrown by hand and shows the blend between eastern and western cultures and handmade and industrial silhouettes. The idea for the tables came from using minimal forms that result in lively surfaces in glazed colors. Due to the fact that they are made from porcelain, they are very durable and resistant as well as colorful. This collection ranges from bistro tables to side and coffee tables and is suitable for indoor as well as outdoor use.
Grounded by François Bernard
François Bernard interprets the theme "Take Care!" through the power that original materials have to ground us in a beneficial sensory experience. In his space named "Grounded", luxury is mainly found in the composition of materials, the accuracy of the design and the strength of the concepts. A space of perception with a restorative materiality, conducive to the experience of the senses and the deployment of the imagination, in contrast to the virtuality of the times.
