ORION PHOTOPHORE, Flower Vase
Orion opens up new perspectives with the use of marble. Mechanically harmonious, its delicate fins are meticulously arranged around a central element. Their shape highlights the fragility of the material and creates a subtle contrast of light and shadows around the object. Viewed from above, Orion has the appearance of a celestial body surrounded by marble rays.Dimensions:Ø187 mm x H 120 mmØ197 mm x H 250 mmØ187mm x H 120 mmMarbles: Portoro, Marquina, Marquina, Calacatta, Paonazzo, Gray St Laurent
Wabi Sabi wooden bowl hand carved by master craftsman
We have found a master craftsman Wabi Sabi, who works with passion and produces real works of art. The artisan makes wooden bowls, plates, for the living room, bedroom, office, anywhere. Chinese by state. As each piece is unique, we will show you photos of the available bowls that you can choose from. They are carved/turned into large trunks. He only makes a few pieces per week. Not only the carving but also the finish is exceptional, burning the wood until it blackens, polishing, etc.
Wabi-Sabi Pots
Old Chinese water pots, heavy and robust, transformed by time and firing into objects of quiet beauty. Their uneven glazing and irregular shapes reveal unique “flaws” that embody the wabi-sabi philosophy of imperfection. Each pot carries an elegant, weathered presence and can also be mounted as a lamp, paired with handmade lampshades in various shapes and colours, making them versatile pieces for interiors, retail and hospitality projects.
NON FLEUR / art object
Sculpture made from textile.MOBJE are art objects featuring materials and techniques used in hat making.
Reda Amalou, a contextual architect
From architecture to furniture, Reda Amalou - together with his partner Stéphanie Ledoux - conceives each project in its entirety. And this is one of the major strengths of the AW2 architectural practice, which for over 25 years has designed everything from the French lycée in Amman, Jordan, to the Six Senses hotel in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, and the Banyan Tree in Alula, Saudi Arabia. With the same boldness, the same exacting standards and the same commitment, he travels from one country to another, with his travels guiding his style and his inspiration coming from Elsewhere. After his participation in the PAD, where he will be presenting part of his furniture collection, he will be flying again to Morocco, Asia or the Caribbean, where he is pursuing projects for hotels in symbiosis with their environment!
