LUDIVINE LOURSEL

Witness

Witness is here representative of the mark we have on our past and the hardships we have endured. Conceived as a combination of support, with strength and fragility. Like the stigmas, it is a symbol of the importance of understanding, what indelible traces we carry within us, on us, in order to be able to compensate for them, sublimate them through the impact of our future actions and our creations. The impact of creation on our mind and on our reconstruction. The shapes echo each other, are linked together and cannot exist without each other. A union resulting from numerous imprints.

VONZ STUDIO

Misty LANDSCAPE Centerpiece

The centerpiece of this Misty Landscape is It is characterized by trying to show a three-dimensional illustration by expressing the shades of lacquer(Ottchil) through a method in which different pieces filled with lacquer(Ottchil) are transparently overlapped.

Sanne Terweij

In search of evoking hidden memories, Sanne Terweij (Amsterdam, 1984) is guided by colour and texture as her driving force and main source of inspiration. Intrigued by the aging of materials, she currently focuses on the use of reflective metals such as brass and copper, exploring their oxidative properties. By using the ever-changing process of oxidation in combination with the handcut shapes that make up her works, no work is ever the same. Transition is a common thread in her work, and her process also reveals her predilection for the craft. Her preference for unconventional materials, experimenting with material studies and the influence of colour is clearly predominant in her current work.
