Frédéric Martin Bernard
His passion for beautiful linen has never left him! From an early age, this Vosges native knew he had a talent and a taste for dressmaking. After studying at ESITE - l'École Supérieure des Industries Textiles d'Epinal - supplemented by training as a stylist, he landed a job with a professional newspaper, and one thing led to another, working for all the major French media: l'Officiel Hommes, l'Express Styles, Marie Claire, Série limitée... as a specialist in men's fashion. Three decades during which he has honed his eye and pushed open the doors of countless ateliers to give a glimpse behind the scenes of creation. Until 2022, when he decided to return to his first love by founding Window, a brand dedicated to making and fitting made-to-measure curtains, the "poor relation" of home decoration. Today, he works with the same passion for both private individuals and interior designers, offering them designs made from contemporary fabrics or carefully sourced antique linens. A return to his roots of which he is proud, and which sounds like a way of reconnecting with the workshops of his region and putting the spotlight on the best craftsmen.
