La Mère, the first ceramic tableware line of Marie Michielssen, is a loving ode to the (grand-)mother figure and women in general. Marie has a lot of respect for women who, despite all social pressure, remain close to their core and use properties such as intuition, binding force and emotional intelligence in a positive way. The desire for warmth and connectedness is part of human nature. And what is more beautiful than bringing together family and friends around a carefully-laid table? Eating good food together is so much more than a basic need to fulfil.

Behind Oros Éditions is Laure Amoros, a young woman with an entrepreneurial streak who, after studying communications, launched a French publishing house with her father, promoting furniture - stools, table lamps, shelves... - and small functional objects - candlesticks, trivets, etc. - all made from birch, cedar or chestnut wood.... These pieces are crafted by French artisans, combining vernacular know-how with high quality finishing. Like those made by Carles Demarquet, Axel Chay and Guillaume Bloget, whose creativity is no longer in question.
