Moulin Roty
Founded five decades ago by a group of friends, this children's brand hasn't aged a bit. It was born in the village of Mouly Roty, near Nantes, but its popularity truly took off in 1975 at the Salon des Métiers d’Art in Paris. There, the brand introduced a small wooden toy car that quickly became a hit and earned it wide recognition. Since taking the helm of the company in 2022, Émilie Colas has managed to write a new chapter in its story without ever compromising its core identity. Alongside the brand’s signature range of toys, newborn gifts, and small furniture, this seasoned entrepreneur has introduced a vibrant new collection of soft toys, backpacks, and boldly designed clothing for children aged 0 to 3. Keen to grow alongside the families it serves, Moulin Roty has also expanded its offering of creative activities and nature-inspired toys, including tool sets, watering cans, and wheelbarrows — all enthusiastically embraced by children. “We even developed a collection for sky exploration, with sundials, compasses, and binoculars to spark imagination in both little ones and grown-ups,” says Émilie Colas, excited by the idea of nurturing curiosity and opening up new horizons for the next generation.

Lotus
Every so many years, Royal Botania creates a piece that is so well-designed and received, it’s instantly iconic. Following the path of the Kokoon, the EZ, the Wave, the Surf, and the Tuskany, the Lotus is the latest stunner. Multiple teak legs sit around a central aluminium base, like rays around the sun. At the back, they form the basis on which thick comfortable foam filled sleeves are woven. The fabrics, which can be easily removed to be laundered, come in over 70 colours of fabric. And that also counts for the main cushion, resulting in thousands of possible colour combinations.
