Drugeot Manufacture: oak as a legacy

A French designer and manufacturer of solid oak furniture and decorative objects, this family-owned company was founded in 1969 and is now run by Matthieu and Pierre Rochepeau. For more than half a century, it has upheld its expertise in woodworking, a tradition that is soon expected to be recognised with the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label. Having joined the Mobilier National’s collections in 2024, Drugeot Manufacture is also proud to furnish prestigious institutional buildings and, soon, the Guimet Museum. “Our strength lies in designing beautifully crafted furniture made from sustainably managed forests,” says Matthieu Rochepeau. Another distinctive feature of the company is its regular collaborations with renowned designers to refresh its collections. This autumn, the collection designed by Constance Guisset will be expanded with a table and a chair, while Laurent Pichaud is also introducing new pieces.

FORESTIER

Lamp PAPILLON

«C’est en visitant la fabrique d’abat jour de la marque que l’inspiration pour la collection Papillon est née. Toute la légèreté de ce luminaire est obtenue par la superposition de 3 carcasses. Les fils de métal de chacune d’elle sont multipliés puis vrillés pour obtenir cet effet graphique et cinétique rappelant celui du battement d’aile d’un papillon.» Elise Fouin
