Olivier Saillard

Olivier Saillard has been Creative, Image, and Cultural Director of the JM Weston brand since January 2018. He is in charge of men's and women's shoe collections, accessories collections, as well as the brand's overall image. After studies in art history, Olivier Saillard was named Director of the Marseille Fashion Museum in 1995, then Manager for fashion exhibition programming at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (2000-2010), and Director of the Palais Galliera, the Fashion Museum of the City of Paris. He was responsible for several major exhibitions, such as "Yohji Yamamoto, juste des vêtements" (Yohji Yamamoto, just clothing), and "Christian Lacroix, Histoire de vêtements" (Christian Lacroix, A Story of Clothing) at the Arts Décoratifs, and "Azzedine Alaïa", then "Jeanne Lanvin" at the Palais Galliera, "Madame Grès, La couture à l’œuvre" (Madame Grès, Couture in action), and more. Alongside his work as a historian, his poetic reflections have been presented as performances. As part of the Festival d’Automne in Paris, he created, along with Tilda Swinton, The Impossible Wardrobe (2012), Eternity Dress (2013); and Cloakroom (2014). In 2016, he presented, at the Musée d’Arts Moderne, "Sur-Exposition", with Charlotte Rampling and Tilda Swinton. In 2018, he created his first collection of haute-couture T-shirts entitled "Moda Povera".
