Defiting the laws of gravity, the designer duo LORIS&LIVIA diverts DURALEX© glass by placing it in a furnace at a very high temperature, until it reaches its melting point: temperature at a given pressure, at which a pure element passes from solid to liquid. The process resulted in a slow deformation of the pieces while preserving their original identity. A beautiful effect to taste a strong alcohol or to use as a cylinder. Fuct of heart! In The Sun - Pendant
As part of the renovation of the Pavillion Dufour at the Chateau de Versailles, Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost came up with a homage to the Sun King. The " In The Sun " collection radiates festive hues of gold and silver in conjunction with softly cast shadows. The result is a very special atmosphere in the rooms they are used to light. Whether wall-mounted, as a ceiling lamp or hanging, the result is consistently magical.
