Philippe Boisselier
Designer, interior decorator, and setting designer. Instructor in interior decor and design at the Beaux Arts in Paris and at the Ecole Camondo, which he directed from 1989 to 1992. Former student at the Ecole Boulle and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. He works mainly in the field of interior design (hotels, offices, private spaces). He has been called upon to work on places imbued with history: the design of the commercial spaces in the Château de Versailles (1991-1992), the Heritage library of the Jardin des Tuileries (1996), the Hôtel Reine Didon on the archaeological site of the Byrsa hill in Carthage (2004), the Saut du Loup restaurant within the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and a space on the Place des Vosges (an apartment for an art collector, in 2015). Philippe Boisselier is the first designer to be included in the pages of the Trois Suisses catalogue, in 1982, with a collection of self-assembly furniture and a rug. For the MAISON&OBJET fair, in 2016, he created the furnishing design for the Press Village as well as cafés and themed exhibitions for Intramuros magazine, since the year 2000. In 2017, he designed the space for the new CRAFT area in Hall 5A for Ateliers d'Art de France, and in 2019, the setting for the brand-new WORK area in Hall 6. (c)Portrait Denis Rouvre
