The Nesting Fruit Series
Michael Young combines woven bamboo with delicate bone china in a novel manner to create a remarkable fruit basket. The achievement of this series was only realized through overcoming the difficulties faced by perforating the porcelain and manually weaving bamboo filaments through delicate holes. Breaking through the limitations presented by the materials and technology, this series is indeed a precious rarity.

Drinking set No.267 "Alpha"
The enforced shape of the "Alpha" set, which fits snugly into the hand, is inspired by a copper beaker from the Middle Ages on show at the MAK/Vienna. The copper beaker was, in turn, inspired by Islamic shapes. The "Alpha Beaker" was very much a product of the 1950s, stackable and ideal for young families who need products that are both elegant and practical. Available in plates of 14 cm, 23.5 cm and 27 cm, in deep plates, in a platter of 43 cm and in 2 sizes of vases and 2 sizes of tumblers. The pieces are all handmade and decorated by applying a chromo, except the large platter which is entirely hand painted. Packaging in gift box.
Olivier Guénot
Originally from Valence, Olivier Guénot trained at the Vatel Institute. In June 2000, he wrote to Alain Ducasse to express his desire to work for him. He joins the Maison Ducasse Paris as a trainee sommelier and restaurant development. Very quickly, he climbed up the ladder, became passionate about the tableware and trained in the Ducasse taste. Little by little, he became the expert of the house, took the position of head of tableware and is now in charge of all the menus of the house's restaurants. Created in 1998 by Chef Alain Ducasse, the Maison Ducasse Paris explores the dimensions of taste through restaurants, charming hotels and manufactured products, but also by training, advising and publishing books for all cooking enthusiasts. Each place has its own history, and Ducasse Paris is constantly promoting the French or local artisans it works with around the world.
