WHAT'S NEW? « New Traditional » by François Delclaux

François Delclaux addresses the popular movement in favor of ultra-localism and describes a renewed, creative traditionalism, where it's the place itself that gives projects their "shape". Well beyond its simple ethnic dimension, this trend includes a new cultural and heritage-led philosophy that places the "terroir", the artisan, local craftsmanship, its traditions, and the material at the core of object production. This approach is also reinforced with an outlook that includes environmental responsibility, social equity, and sustainable development.
