MILLE ET CLAIRE
Manipur means ‘land of jewels’. this Northern Indian state, close to Burma, remains isolated. In Manipur, the traditional art of hand weaving passes down one generation of women to the next. Every single tribe has its own conceptions and unique colours. Restyled by our designers, the Manipuri range is born from a close collaboration between ‘Mille et Claire” and Manipur’s expert weavers. These well-designed cushions are entirely hand woven on traditional weaving looms. The 100% Cotton-made weaving and the various woolen patterns have been specially edited for Mille et Claire.

Vlisco Recycled Carpet
LABEL / BREED
Vlisco is a leading producer of batik-printed fabrics for the African market. To ensure its leading position in a niche market, Vlisco removes any material from the production line that fails to meet their standards for the highest quality. Designer Simone Post did an extensive material research into Vlisco’s waste material that led to a new application for textile that otherwise would have been destroyed. Using folding and cutting techniques the waste fabric is used to make colourful patterned carpets. A unique product with endless possible colour combinations is created each and every time.
