Jean-Luc Colonna d’Istria

After Management and Political Science studies, a first significant work experience in Japan then as a marketing consultant in the ’90, Jean Luc begins his entrepreneurial career with “Bien Joué” that was ultimately bought by the FNAC Group in 2000. That same year, in association with Natures et Découvertes François Lemarchand, he then creates Resonance, a retail chain specialized in made in France or rooted in collective memory decorating objects. In 2009, alongside Marie France Cohen and Daniel Rozensztroch, he participated in the creation and development of the Merci Parisian store as a buyer and marketing director. For more than 25 years as a buyer, he has had the opportunity to discover the different generations of MAISON&OBJET exhibitors, French and international, and help them facilitate their adaptation to new forms of distribution. Extremely passionate about retail and its evolution, since 2016 he has been an advisor or administrator of several physical or online distribution and catering companies, or carries out development missions as a consultant, most often in connection with the community of creators or designers, in France or in Japan.
