DIGITAL DAYS | CRAFT, MÉTIERS D'ART - Jean-Baptiste Sibertin Blanc's picks

Brand history and innovation are the heart of the dialogue Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc creates with fine craft, strong of the experience he inherited from his schooling: cabinetmaker (Ecole Boulle) and designer (ENSCI, Paris). In 2021, the exhibition « Lettres de Verre, une éclipse de l’objet »* explores the creation of an alphabet focused on 4 essential techniques: shaping, glass-blowing, glass paste and flame-worked glass. A way of questioning the changes in our relationship with objects. Discover his selection of fine craft pieces.

Origamital - wall covering

Origamital explores the possibilities that sheet metal offers when viewed as a sheet, folded, braided and deployed. He can also play the claustras, the folding opening windows on either side on the surface he hides. A game between the visible and the invisible.
