Amélie du Chalard

Amélie du Chalard founded in 2015 "Amélie Maison d'art", a contemporary art gallery with a new format. Among her other entrepreneurial adventures, the young gallery owner has created Miracolo, a platform dedicated to limited edition art at affordable prices and more recently, Ambroise, an experience of aesthetes’ houses for rental. CIOTTOLO seat #1
Each pebble smoothed by the river offers a unique profile, imbued with the soft curves that the water has shaped. This new Ciottolo seat thus tells its own story: the lines widen, the material is modelled and the iconic shape takes on a more imposing dimension, bringing a different perspective to the space and a new level of comfort. Imperfettolab design
Gaivota Rocking chair
The curved forms of the Gaivota rocking chair were defined by Reno Bonzon, as he was sat in deep snow during a stay in the Alps and had a look at his bodyprint after standing up. Keeping ergonomics in mind, Reno wanted to reproduce this comfortable shape.

Amélie Du Chalard, singular gallery owner
This young woman has an entrepreneurial streak. After a 1st life in finance, she decided in 2016 to cast off and open her first gallery-apartment, shaking up the codes of the milieu. "My ambition from the outset of the adventure has been to install artworks in a warm, familiar environment, not in disembodied white cubes," explains Amélie, who inaugurated a Maison d'art on rue Séguier in Paris's 6th arrondissement. A different kind of place, nestled in a private mansion, where over 200 paintings, sculptures, photos, ceramics and textiles from all over the world are on display. At the same time, she has also opened 3 Collectors' Houses - aesthetes' refuges somewhere between a hotel and a bed & breakfast - to be rented by the night with hotel services, where the furniture and works in situ are for sale. A new house in the Marais district will be inaugurated in September, and a gallery in New York by the end of the year.
