Galta 180 Bench
Linear and minimalist, the Galta bench designed by SCMP Design Office has a strong point: its light weight. Available in several colors and several sizes, the bench takes up the particularity of the Galta collection: its base in the shape of a drop of water, slightly beveled. The quality of manufacture allows the base to blend with the seat and the bench to slide, while chic and discreet, under a table or under the bedside.
AA Butterfly© armchair - Leather
Published by AA [nd] in accordance with the original design of 1938, the AA Butterfly© armchair combines heritage and modernity. Its suspended seat in genuine leather (2.8 to 3 mm thick), made from the back of a cow, guarantees flexibility and hold. This European leather, which is vegetable tanned, develops a unique patina over time. Its chromed steel or tubular metal structure (73 x 76 x 90 cm, approx. 10 kg) ensures stability and lightness. Available in several elegant shades, it is suitable for refined interiors. Each piece is made with care in Pascale's workshop, in Drôme, France.
Briand Berthereau studio
Created in 2011 by Joran Briand and Arnaud Berthereau, the studio operates in the fields of design. Its philosophy is very simple: make the most possible out of the least possible. This approach, which could be called “frugal”, seeks to create the perfect balance between form and function, whilst simultaneously optimizing responses to financial and environmental constraints inherent to every project. To reach this goal, we like to make the materials speak out for themselves, by stripping them down to their essentials. We try to wash away the drawn-on aspect of the object to rid it of any superfluous addition and reveal its emotion-inducing power.
