Mirror "Rue Montmartre"
This Collection has been inspired by a mirror found in an old 50’s hotel, in Montmarte Road. A flowered wallpaper had been slipped under the mosaÏc formed by the tiles, which, oxydised by time, let show, as if by magic, fragments of the wallpaper. Half-way between a mirror and an decorator’s piece, the image is incredibly mysterious!! The oxydation of the mirrors, handcrafted these days in our Workshops, make them look totally authentic.
Tassi - Portrait Collector
Painting in limited and numbered series, delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by the designer. A new heroine with an ingenious expression, Tassi is no easy prey. As gentle as it is powerful, the impassive creature with a concise eloquence commands respect. No slyness makes his eye shine, his conviction is superior: only the reversal of powers nourishes the hope of a possible harmony. Design Rachel & Benoît Convers - Material: Solid laminate frame and printed on compressed paper - Made in France
Jord
Jörd is another limited edition bronze sculpture by the Icelandic sculptor Örn Porsteinsson inspired by Norse mythology. In Old Norse, the word jörd means earth, land. Jörd is therefore considered as Mother Earth, whose son is the thunder god Thor. A rounded biomorphic shape is reminiscent of the spectacular Icelandic landscape, making Jörd a charming and aesthetically pleasing statement piece. The sculpture is available in a deep greenish blue patina. Limited to 75 pieces.
SMALL SIZE MARBLE PAPER NOTEBOOK
A classic of the Legatoria la Carta, the hardcover notebook bound in marbled paper designed and manufactured by hand in our workshop in Florence. Available for all uses, its small size - 12 x 17 cm - makes it an easy notebook to slip into a handbag. Each notebook is unique because each sheet of paper is unique. Available in a large quantity of bright and cheerful colors, our notebooks are always a popular gift idea. They are available with white, ivory or lined paper inside.
Antique headless busts of Bulgarian Zar and Zarina
Busts of Zarina Giovanna di Savoia and Zar Boris III of Bulgaria, who was poisoned by the Nazis in 1943 after a meeting with Hitler in which he refused to side against the Soviet Union. The busts were found a few years ago by the person who sold them to us in the attic of the public library in Ruse. Also known as "little Vienna", the city of Ruse is the fifth largest in Bulgaria. It is in the north east, on the right bank of the Danube.
