BACSAC® is a French brand that designs and manufactures flexible containers for plants. While nature is our inspiration, we have a penchant for the city.The city is a garden, let's cultivate it !
BACSAC® was born in Paris in 2008, out of a chance encounter of two landscape architects involved in promoting the return of nature into the city and one nature-loving designer. They dreamed of a free city, liberated from the constraints of weight and space, and they set out to find alternatives to traditional flowerpots to address the complications of reclaiming parts of the city. They invented a whole new kind of flexible, lightweight, portable geotextile planter. Using bags as planters stemmed from a desire to promote new habits, to emphasise the value of what truly matters – plants.
