Born in England. Re-imagined in Sweden. The egg coddler from the late 1800s is no longer in production; you'd be lucky to find one in a flea market or on eBay. The designer Jois James, having come upon his parents' antique English coddlers after their passing, was blown away by the creamy deliciousness and variety of coddled eggs. He decided to bring coddlers out of extinction and created ÄGGCØDDLER. The principle is the same as cooking a boiled egg -but the results with a coddler are infinitely more exciting, as the eggs cook in their own vessel, you can add any ingredient your heart desires.
