Boutures d’objets is a design studio specializing in the creation of objects made from mycelium-based biocomposites, including lighting, vases, furniture and decorative pieces
Founded in 2019 in Orléans by Laurence Saugé, Boutures d’objets is a design and product development studio combining design, eco-design and material innovation. With twenty years of experience in product development and luxury packaging, the studio supports brands and interior design professionals in developing bespoke projects. The studio has developed particular expertise in mycelium-based materials, exploring their applications in furniture, scenography, floral design and lighting.

"Mycelium Design" Launch Collection

Boutures d’objets is a design and manufacturing studio specialized in eco-design, biodesign, and product development with innovative, recycled, or bio-sourced materials. In September 2025, we will be presenting a new collection of lighting fixtures, vases, and furniture made from mycelium biocomposite, a process inspired by the living nature for a soft and raw aesthetic. -

France Design Week

This year, France Design Week returns from September 7 to 28, and for the first time, the theme "Vivant, vivants" will set the pace for this edition. Boutures d'objets will be presenting a project it is developing in parallel with its other activities: mycelium spheres. This project is aimed at florists and artists working with plants, who wish to use ecological plant supports. -
